Today was the third time we ate at the Gasthof zum Schützen, an upper-class, traditional restaurant in Aarau, Switzerland. This time, most of us had a traditional Swiss venison meal. The food was delicious, the meat perfectly cooked, and the local wine a great match. The staff is very cordial and the chef still takes time to salute his guests.Thank you for a very good meal and another great experience!

Great food, wonderfully prepared, the portions are also very solid. The service is impeccable, while the wine cellar had live jazz music on the day we came (we heard that’s not always the case). A really nice evening for us over there – would absolutely recommend. P.S. The prices are, as I am told by the locals – fair. Not exactly cheap, but also not expensive.
