I’ve been to countless ramen places in Japan before and in my opinion the ramen at Yume doesn’t quite compare. The ramen is very nicely prepared but unfortunately I found the broth either too salty or too thick most of the times. Not bad, but it could be better.

Fried chicken was good. However this ramen was VERY salty… I think the most salty ramen in my life. I talked about this to a waiter and he kindly gave me broth to add (which is a positive side and let me give 3 stars instead of 2). Noodle itself was fresh. The portion was quite small, compared to other Ramen places in Zurich. I think we would have left hungry, if we did not eat fried chicken in the beginning.

Good customer service, they were all very friendly and even welcomed us in Japanese 🙂 We had fried chicken as a starter. The chicken was well seasoned, altough a little bit dry. The Ramen was good. You can customize the ingredients well. I had a Tantanmen Ramen. Very delicious. Good portions for me, my partner ordered extra noodles. It’s pretty pricey but I believe that’s just ramen restaurants in Zurich.

Friendly service, nice to see Coedo beer in Zürich, everything tasted great. The weird bit was the egg, cucumber and sweet corn packed into the side of my una don like a Fitnessteller. 何？ I will come back to try the ramen though.

If you could wait till you go to other cities for ramen I’d wait…Didn’t like the taste of soup… the marinated egg is soooo salty, I guess they marinated it with salt rather than soy sauce, and the chashu can be much better…Anyways, I won’t visit again…you’ll understand if you had decent Japanese ramen before..
