Great quality food! We ordered their set menu and they came with different degrees of flavor and strength. They have menu for vegetarians or pescetarians as well! I went there three times on special occasions especially with friends and families when they have their birthdays. The staff were very friendly and made sure to chat with us. Great Swiss hospitality indeed! 😍 😍 😍

Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely amazing, large portions of high quality ingredients cooked to perfection. We had the pumpkin soup with lemongrass for starter and the Veal Basel style (with liver and sweetbread) and the Tenderloin steak, with Rosti, potato salad and a green salad of fresh lettuce leaves as our sides. All sauces and sides were just delicious. Service and restaurant vibes were all very enjoyable.

Central location, with very nice spacious interior. Venue has a more formal as well as an informal part. Visited for Lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon in the informal “place mat” part. Comfortable seating with sufficient privacy space between the tables. Compact menu with the usual international and Swiss/German favourites. Quality and taste of the food is good, servings are average size. Staff are friendly and service speed was good for a Saturday afternoon. Prices in line with the central location.

Swiss restaurant with a touch. More on the upscale side. Nice atmosphere, good service. Try the restaurant (not the bistro) and go ahead with the Zunft or the Degustation menu. Never disappoints. We are visiting often when we are in Basel. Wine list also good. Reservation in advance highly recommended.
