Our first meal in Switzerland and it was a great one! 👍🏻We were shown an English menu after asking for it, saving us the hassle of translating each item on the menu with google translate 😅🐖 the pork escalope was a bit too dry, but all else is great otherwise! The chips/fries were really nice and was a generous serving. The large portion is recommended for guys to have a filling meal.🍗 the half roasted chicken is also a tad too dry, but flavours are sufficient and the garden salad had an amazing sauce to go with too!🍻 the beer ordered were their local flavours, and was lightly tasted at an affordable priceGreat place to chill and have a meal with the mountain, bridge and river view as the backdrop! 🏔

Visited the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed our experience here. The beef and fish were fresh and juicy, one of the best we tried in Switzerland. The price itself is definitely on the pricier end, as they have good food and a good view of the river. Their service was also friendly towards us who are Asians. Recommended.

Schiff was by far the best restaurant experience and evening we had in Luzern. This is largely due to our outstanding host, Christian (hope you are lucky enough to meet him, thank you again Christian for your genuine hospitality). Beyond the 1st class hospitality, both the food and atmosphere was perfect. Amazing fondue and the pork meatballs were incredible.

Excellent meal in atmospheric restaurant – either under the arches or by the river. We had a perch fish with salad and a superb steak. Really enjoyed our experience here. Best to book in advance, even the night before, to get a table by the river.

Amazing fondue. Chicken was a bit plain but the rest of the food was amazing. Sitting by the lake is great.Server awkwardly asked for a tip at the end which was a bit off-putting but the place is worth a visit for the fondue for sure.

The restaurant is well-located directly nearby river, so you can enjoy your meal with really nice scenary. The dishes are delicious, and with fair pice. The only thing is that the guy served us was quite busy, and was obviously unpleasant (even with some complaints) when we refused to give tips.

I love this place cause it is right on the river Reuss. You can sit outside and it was great. Service was friendly, i had my Glühwein und my fish. You have fear all over if you are freeznig and even coats, so cool. Its s traditional swiss place and they offer all kind of traditional food for a real good deal. Really enjoyed myself there.
