his place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they ’re doing and what they ’re talking about, and you can tell making the guests happy is their main precedence. Food is enough good, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices, it’s 100 worth it.

From the outside this looks like a restaurant where the hotel guests eat breakfast. How wrong! Differnte is one of the best kept insider tips in Zürich. Remodeled in the 90’s, the restaurant decor with its playful combination of tiles, textures, and ambiant lighting has character and charm. It’s upscale comfortable. Most Zürchers know that their autumn game menu and spring asperagus specialties are fantastic. My personal favorite is their Lobster Bisque. I like it so much that I could eat it as a starter and then order another bowl for dessert. Add in friendly service, a solid wine list, and a tram stop in front of the door (11 & 14) this is a great place where even your usual designated driver can join the celebration.

Reservation recommended.Friendly service.Great quality of food, begininning with the mixed salad as starter until the fried ice cream dessert.Especially the homemade beef tartare in different variations is a highlight and one of the best in Zurich downtown.Definitively a place to come back.
