One of the best Italian restaurants in Bern. Delicious pizza from the wood-fire oven, and many other freshly prepared dishes. Cozy family-style atmosphere with friendly waiters. As this is a popular place, it can get crowded. Reservation is recommended.

A place to avoid. Today I had a pizza; it was horrible. The base was kind of fried, like those at pizza hut, and the cheese… I don’t know what was it, but for sure not mozzarella. Staff was ok and food was served quick, hence 2 stars. I cannot understand so many reviews saying that it’s wonderful. No way!

Perfectly located just a couple of minutes from the capital’s main station. The restaurant offers a wide selection of Italian specialities, some of which you might not have heard of as well as a stupendous wine list. Staff is forthcoming, efficient as well as attentive, hence waiting times are minimal. On the downside there was a constant draft in the dining room all night, albeit we asked staff to shut the door.
