Your home away from home. For me it’s the most Basel of all Basel places. The service is fantastic. The food is on point. The atmosphere is what people go here for time after time (after time after time). ❤️

The food was amazing. We ordered tagliatelle with truffles and Cordon Bleu with fries. The pasta was fresh and the truffles complimented the pasta really well. The fries are thin and crispy and the Cordon Bleu is very tasty.

Good food and very busy place. They are the pasta specialist . Those pastas are really very tasty. The outdoor tables don’t have the best view though- overlooking the littered tram stop where homeless ppl are littering it further . Not a good view.

One of my favourite place to eat and meet people in Basel – convivial, good food and a great place to return to time and again. I particularly like the upstairs dining rooms for cosy dinners or the downstairs main room for a bit more packed fun. Great place !

Next to the art on the wall – Keith Harring, Picasso etc among others – the food is as pleasurable as the atmosphere. I was recommended to go and went twice. I ordered their fennel and parmesan salad starter twice and i think it will become a regular item when i go. Their wine selection is good and the food never disappoints. There is something neighbourly about the place where one feels very at ease, like a local joint. It is supposed to be a “bodega” but the dishes are italian – or maybe i do not know Spanish gastronomy that much but don’t expect tapas or iberico ham… A treat and good service. What else do you need ?

Good Italian food, definitely not Spanish as Google seems to think. We had the octopus, squid and fennel salad for appetizers. It was perfect after squeezing the two lemon wedges on it. The black tagliatelle was delicious and the spaghetti diavolo was executed perfectly. My son really like his calamars frits.
