Arguably the best authentic Napoli-style pizza (the one with the soft, uneven rim) in Aarau. They only offer one of two serving sizes: half or full meter. You can then choose between one to four toppings on your pizza. The Italian staff is friendly and accommodating. Reservations are recommended.

The food was excellent and the service was great.

The pizza at La Caverna was excellent thin crust pizza. The dining area was a bit loud, this was compounded by there being a fair amount of echo in the room. But back to the food, excellent thin crust pizza which can be bought by the half meter. The prices were reasonable for Switzerland, about 35 chf for the 1/2 meter size. The menu doesn’t lie when it says 2 to 3 people for the .5 meter size. Definitely worth the stop.
