This is a great place for a special occasion. We emailed ahead with our reservation since we are vegetarian and when we arrived they confirmed with us about our food preferences and that they had some menus to propose. We really enjoyed the teppan yaki seating, and everything the chef made was delicious. We also had tempura as starters which was really excellent too. We saved room for dessert–grilled banana with vanilla ice cream and it was so perfect I could have easily had a second. I did not leave a molecule. ;)The staff was so attentive and various people checked on us. My mother-in-law had never had Japanese food of any kind and loved it (the seaweed salad not so much, so they brought her a green salad, also superb).It is a loooong meal so go with people you like and enjoy taking your time together!

Terrible experience, sashimi fish warmer than the room so not fresh, service appauling of unfriendliness, and nothing of quality in an inside that smells old without air con in scorching summer heat.

Lukewarm attempt at teppanyaki. Was expecting a show or more interaction with the chef, but instead he came over, cooked our meals and left.Beef was excellent, but the accompanying vegetables were not well cooked and seemed an afterthought.Will try the a la carte menu next time instead.
