Nice place. Great ambience and very friendly staff. We were a big group of 7 people and we were accommodated without a reservation in almost no waiting time. Nice food too but a bit pricey for the portions.

We had their overnight oats with fruit (can’t remember the German name) and they were DELISH!We ate out on the covered patio. It was a lovely meal.

Flamekuchen was a bit overcook, pasta of the day was not bad. Nice atmosphere and the price is ok for Switzerland.

I went there with my class for brunch, and the prices seemed expensive, but i expected the food and service to be great, given an egg can cost you over 10 CHF. We were brought our drinks. I had a hot chocolate with cream, which was quite good. After that the orders of the first table were taken, but after that, for about 15 minutes, the waiter didn’t come to take the orders at the table i was at, which i found quite annoying, since the restaurant wasn’t very busy at all. Once he finally came, i ordered scrambled eggs, a croissant and a pain au chocolat. The eggs were good, but a very small portion, especially for 8 CHF. The croissant and pain au chocolat were okay. Similar quality as ones you would buy in Migros or Coop. We also waited quite some time for the food, especially for the people who ordered boiled eggs. This was quite irritating, as we had ordered those eggs in advance so they should have been prepared. Overall it was ok, but with the high prices i was left pretty dissapointed.

Food was good and well-presented. Was surprised by the charge of 3 CHF for tapwater, but I’ve learned that’s somewhat standard in Switzerland

Lovely breakfast place for the weekend or any time. Can be crowded, so make a reservation. Great customer service, nice ambiance. Generous seating inside or out. Generous, personalized menu. You won’t think you’re at a train station.

The location is at the Badischer Bahnhof which is a railway station. It was the second time I visit the location. The location is a combination of two rooms. A big room with tables (restaurant) and next to it, couches to seat down, chill and drink a nice coffee. The other room is a smaller room with bar ambient. There are not any couches and is not that comfortable like the bigger room. The first time I went there, there was a concert, live music which is great but can be a bit annoying if there a lot of people and you try to talk to your friend because it is supposed to be quiet and enjoy the show, so I went to the smaller room with bar ambient. Even without music, if there are too many people it can get loud, but its ok if you don’t have any problem with that. The second time I went to les garecons, I tried the bigger room. I ordered something to eat (Owen pommes and chicken salad) which was tasty, and I also had a cappuccino with caramel aroma. Service was friendly, price is also ok for the place. To be a railway station bar, its pretty nice. The only thing I don’t know is, if there is a access to the toilets for disabled people. Because you have to go downstairs
