We had a nice dinner here with a fondue and appetizer plate. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, and along with the English menu, was really helpful. The ambience was cosy and fun.Although the breads were a bit dry, it was still nice with the fondue.

Very friendly and helpful Staff. It is just that the food want really prepared as it should. Meat was cooked too long, very dry and the mushroom sauce was more a Knorr Maggi sauce. Very nice ambient. Beer was great 👍

Excellent restaurant on the edge of the old town. The inside seating is actually beneath the old wall of the city and has great atmosphere. I have been going to Biel for almost 20 years for work and my old favorite for fondue in the town changed ownership and closed. I checked out Les Caves based on google reviews and am glad to make them a new regular for my visits. In the future I will be certain to try out some of their other Swiss dishes. Surprisingly they also had menus in English.The cheese smell here is strong. I loved it but those from America and not used to it may be a little put off. I strongly encourage you to sit down and enjoy because the food was superb.
