Staying at the Hotel Stern next door. Stopped in for a drink and to check out the menu for a romantic dinner the next night. Got one drink and the bartender disappeared. Could not get anyone to acknowledge us or ask us if we wanted anything. Needless to say we won’t go there for dinner or anything else. Terrible service.

This was my second visit to this space. The food was good but nothing special! Maybe because I was a little bit, badly impressed, with the lack of care regarding the current situation we are living in! The pass certificate, regarding the covid concern, was only requested when we were already seated and some of us already had drinks!! I didn’t understand and I didn’t like this lack of care, at such a difficult time we are living!

We were 2 couples looking for a nice Italian and came across La Vita as we walked from our Hotel around the corner. The pizzas were excellent, tasty, thin base “just like mama used to make”. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Our waitress- Seraina – was very nice and very helpful, she suggested a very nice local wine which was great.

Great food and service, the freshly made gnocchi was superb as was the childrens spaghetti. The ambiance was modern but with classical touches and soft lighting. Just a shame there is only so much you can eat and we aren’t local.
