I highly recommend this place. The food is very good. There are many kinds of cordon blu, and 3 of them are definitely good. There is a good selection of beers as well. The service is nice. Four of us were eating out , everybody ordered chips as side dish. The waiter recommend to take just 3 as it will be enough. He was right, it’s more than enough.

One of my favourite places for Cordon Bleu in Basel…most places do just the classic Cordon Bleu, but this place has over a dozen variations for both the veal and pork versions. I would say for the classic version, there are a couple of better places in Basel, but I really like the variations offered here. Have been several times and service is pleasant and polite.

Excellent time here. We enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant has a nice ambience too so I will definitely come back if I can. The staff were friendly too! Dankeschön😎

Food is ok but place is terribly overpriced. Cordonbleu (on pic) was like 36 chf, without sides ! You have to buy sides separately…not even little vegies. 1 dl of open wine – 14 chf (you can buy good bottle with that!). Hygene norms are also not respected – the bread basket was left outside (as it is a terrace), little birds started to eat it. Waiter saw it (he made the birds go away)…and he served this basket to the guests….a bit disgusting, isn’t it ?

Miserable service. Skip this place.Waited 20 minutes trying to order with no one even acknowledging us while a table next to us was getting all their stuff. One of the waitresses clearly didn’t wanna be there. We paid out carafe of mineral water which was a ridiculous $10 and left to eat somewhere else.

Stumbled upon this place while spending day in Basel. A few blocks off the main path. Cute interior.Even though there was clear language barrier, our server did best to help us navigate. Food was good, but found it strange we were asked temperature for our braised beef when it came out well anyway.Regardless, wine and beer list were good although a felt a little expensive.Either way, we had a great time as server went out of here way to offer suggestions for things to do after.Would recommend if looking for place in Basel.
