Beautiful place with lovely ambience. Had dinner with my missus here on a Monday evening and the experience was simply sublime. The quality of food here is top-notch and coupled with the excellent service rendered by Sascha and his fellow co-worker (didn’t manage to get his name as he ended his shift before we left) made our evening one to remember. This place might simply be the best restaurant we have visited in Zürich. I strongly recommend anyone that is visiting Zürich to try this place if you’re looking for quality food. 👍🏻 Will definitely be back again the next time we visit 😁

Really unique seafood experience. Many great options but salmon (prepared several ways) was really the highlight of the evening; the best description of the style of food is something like modern Scandinavian. The miso, tempered, and tenderloin salmon were all perfectly cooked and plated. Two man staff were very thoughtful and proactive, suggesting a great bottle of wine to match our evening. Don’t miss it if you’re in the mood for fresh seafood prepared in a creative way.

Salmon-centric fish restaurant, cozy elegant small hall good for peaceful discussions, fit for couples but also for mid sized groups and a nice stop while walking across the ancient town. Smoked salmon of several kinds takes center stage and desserts are great too.

Tried the seasonal special starter of wild salmon, which is only available in Aug. It is very tender and creamy that doesn’t taste like the farmed salmon at all. Quite an experience! Smoked shrimps also taste fresh with a lot of roe in the bellies.

We had lunch (Salmon Salad and Moules (Mussels)), quick service, and VERY fair prices.Decoration is done with much love and hommage to the Scandinavian heritage, down to the bathrooms. All is very clean and neat, 5 stars.The server sole-handily changed my impression of service – friendly, upbeat, helpful and very attentive. 10 stars if I could.I know the prices have been commented on in previous reviews but I disagree. The Old Town (Niederdörfli) is one of the most expensive patches of Switzerland to eat in general – Fris Fisk is on the cheaper side of that.If you like fish or oysters you won’t be disappointed. There is also SUPER fresh fish on ice to buy for home. Again, for Norwegian import and top quality prices are adequate.Recommend this place, also nice to sit outside and our dogs were welcome.
