Great place especially for lunch when they have special plates. Food is very good as well as the service.

Very disappointing experience. First of all the menu is quite strange with little to offer. Our meals which consisted of vegetables only were undercooked, underseasoned and thrown on a plate without any care, mentioned the shockingly poor quality to the waitress and no reaction. The service and atmosphere were also quite underwhelming. I believe the only reason that this restaurant is busy is because Aarau does not offer many resraurant choices in the city center. I can only imagine what Einstein would say having his name associated with such a place. I don’t imagine he would be very impressed, in any case we certainly won’t be back- (E)instein = mediocre cuisine2

Liked the midday menu. Also liked the quick service and the fresh cold water. I love it how they serve your food on trays, canteen menu style, but with actual porcelain and silverware. Well put together.

3 Lunch menus, only one vegetarian…. which wasn’t too inspiring (Spring Rolls with a standard sweet chilli sauce) The place looks like the chef could do better….. maybe I will bring them some recipes as an inspiration

They charge 5 CHF for Tap water, and in the bill they wrote mineeal water. We took whole meal for three and bottle of wine. When we asked what’s going on with this, manager said that the bottled still water will be charged 12CHF.
