It was a very comforting, very satisfying, and an amazing meal at Dragon Girl. You can taste the love she’s put into cooking, you can taste it in every dish. Its the best fried chicken i’ve ever had. That extra crunch was a bonus. I totally recommend it here and I would definitely come back!

Awesome. Asian family looking for a familiar meal after a month of European food. Pleasantly surprised in a city with few options. Great: Crispy duck, fried chicken, crispy cauliflower, chili (spicy!) + Sriracha is available, rice with sauce, tasty soup, ginger (made on the spot) & green tea, generous portions, attractive plating & presentation, local HK-style decor & cutlery, great service!For the Cantonese purists, both the mixed and soup noodles will come across as wetter/ less chewy than what you would get in Hong Kong. We just enjoyed ourselves and ate it all anyway.

Have been traveling for a bit and got desperate for some good Chinese food. Found Dragon Girl Kitchen on google search of the area and wasn’t disappointed! You enter a little shopping area and take the escalator down a floor. The owner was lovely and makes authentic HK/Cantonese food. The crispy duck over rice with a couple of dumplings added on was 😋 delicious!

After more than two weeks of ordering foods with names I cannot pronounce, I was happy to happen chanced on this placed. Not easy to find the place because it does not have signage on the street level so just follow the address and go down on level. The food does bring back taste of HK but to say it is as good then you have not been to HK. To complain that the noodles are soggy, it is being nitpicking. The owner obviously tried to use the best alternative given the lack of authentic HK “wonton noodles “ in Basel. Overall , I was happy with the dishes I ordered, the soup noodles soothed my stomach 😋

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I have to say, this is by far the best Japanese/South Korean-style fried chicken in all of Switzerland. Don’t miss out.Also ask for the amazingly flavorful chili sichuan pepper sauce which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable!The owners are also very nice and forth-coming. I hope more people will find their way to the Sternengasse underground floor, this could very well be the next Klara or Markthalle-like food court in Basel.
