Fantastic plant based tasting experience. The menu included about 10 different dishes to share and all of them were exquisite, showcasing surprising taste combinations. I shared the meal with 2 other people and we all thought it was great! We especially loved the Moroccan soup from the starters and the charred cabbage as one of the mains. Hard to pick favorites though, everything was excellent! Would certainly return – thank you!!!

My partner and I visited Dar for a dinner and we enjoyed the experience. We went for the “sharing experience” and we loved it. Most of the items were delicious and the portions sizes were decent too (which is not always the case when having a tasting menu). Wine was good too.The customer service was friendly, attentive and very efficient. Prices are a bit on the higher end but definitely worth it, and still cheaper than other similar places in Zürich like KLE.The only negative note was perhaps regarding the premises. The restaurant looks old and the lighting is very poor.Overall, positive experience and we will certainly be back.

Best dining experience in Zürich so far 🙂 We went for the DAR experience menu, and tasted at least 10 types of food, AND all of them were very delicious 😋 Wines are recommended to taste too!Will return for a second amazement soon!

After trying the restaurant ‘Kle’ for dinner a couple weeks prior, we decided to check out ‘Dar’ for brunch.We had their ‘Brunch and Bubbles’ tasting menu for CHF 60 per person, that also includes a coffee, a glass of Cava, orange juice and water. First, the savoury dishes were served and we were pleasently suprised of both the portion sizes and the delicious food itsself. My personal favorites were the mushroom sandwiches, the fried mushrooms and the fries.After this first round of food we started to feel quite full already, but of course had to try all the sweets. My highlights here were the overnight oats and the Franzbrötchen.We all enjoyed this brunch and left completely satisfied.In case you don’t feel like you ate enough during brunch, they are happy to serve more food, just ask for it.I would definitly come back and bring my friends and family.And yes, it is a vegan restaurant, but you will not notice it as every single dish is so delicious.

Tasting menu @restaurant_dar 😍 Finally managed to try out this restaurant, which offers a moroccan menu that is entirely vegan (affiliated with KLE, as you can clearly see from the mushroom dish on picture 5). Great experience, most dishes were a flavor bomb (especially the soup, bärlauchpesto, asparagus & leek and mushrooms). Service was great and the ambience as well very pleasant for a night out! Prices: 68.-/ person for menu, 5.-/ person for water (flat fee), 8-11.-/ glass of wine
