Beautiful location on a sunny day, very central yet quiet. Quite a big terrace, so baby/stroller friendly. Their hot dogs are bangers. There’s always a queue, you have to order at the bar.

Love this location at the river Limmat, my most favorite in Zürich during the Summer. The place is beatifull, the water mostly clear and fresh, temperature between 16 and 26 degrees celsius, the crowd is a nice one. And if the restaurant team has a good day they have a nice bar and BBQ outdoors.But: This restaurant is just a typical example for parts of Zürich: its closed on Mondays even during the hot Summer with a huge crowd outside, no BBQ outside on weekends “because people don’t like BBQ on the weekend”, pretty often during the week no BBQ neither “because just today we don’t have the BBQ but inside we offer nice food” (not an exception, alle the days before the same). The food inside means expensive salads or chips, some sandwiches, tortilla. That’s “you can find good food inside”.Recently on a Friday after nearly 2 full weeks of the BBQ grill staying closed and a thunderstorm forecasted for the afternoon we brought our own picknick with us. But surprise surprise – the grill was prepared to be in operation this night. Then the thunderstorm arrived and they had another day without BBQ. Wo could have seen this coming…One of the employees is at least realizing that there is a lot of unmet demand and sells drinks on “Closed Mondays” on her own.Such a extremely popular, nice and crowded place combined with such lacy people is such a pity. Hopefully the city as the owner of the Dynamo will once take the chance and rent out the restaurant to a new, more motivated, customer friendly team to develop this place to it’s full potential.In my family we have the saying “It’s closed because of wealth”PS: the City of Zürich decided to make the Platzspitz on the other side of the River more vibrant and the people to stay there – so they started an initiative and asked a couple of food trucks to seattle there in August and begin of September. So finally we could get nice street food all the past weeks and bring it back to Dynamo/Wasserchuchi (City of Zürich owned as well).

By the river chill out place, that we always visit whilst in town! Extraa nice on a sunny day as yesterday. Good drinks, super friendly personnel! If you feel hungry, make sure you arrive early since they might run out of food. Even so though, you ll get some snacks! Recommended ♡

Very cosy place for a drink with outside seating and a beautiful view on Limmat. Very easy going. Super crowded in summer, but not so much in cold days. This place is also open on Sundays.
