Chez Philippe is excellent. It’s tucked away inside du Rhone 8. The upstairs dining area is covered but open air, and wonderfully cool and breezy on this got summers day. We ordered the lobster salad, crab cakes, teriyaki black cod and aubergine gratin side. All were excellent, but the aubergine stole the show, so smooth and creamy, simply amazing. Service is perfect too boot. Would absolutely eat here again.

I was really expecting more. Especially for something which is Michelin listed, I was incredibly underwhelmed.The food was good. No complaints. It was prepared well and to specification. But it’s a safe menu and nothing really jumped out as interesting.My issue is the service. It was a Sunday evening and not very busy, yet in addition to being very slow, the waiter completely missed an entire course that I ordered.For the price and location, I’d expect better performance all around. It has potential but wasn’t quite the experience I had hoped for.

Ideally located in Center of the city, nice ambiance , good service except the host who is not that welcoming as Suisse hospitality is famous for. It will be sad to see if Suisse hospitality loses its sensitivity about service and customer satisfaction. Food has been a bit disappointing as my black cod was too chewy for my liking and lobster bisque soup was too thick. Menu is excellent with full of beef options and seafood. I think I need to try other dishes to give my final conclusion. Their are better options in town then to spend this kind of money here. This place is open on Sundays too and maybe Sunday is not a good day to go as per my Sunday experience. Pets are allowed too. This was the best part of the evening.

Great place, food, and service.It bothered me a bit that we wanted to set outdoors but they didn’t let us because we were 8 persons, though I think they can manage that for sure!I will come here again for the good food and the amazing service.

Service is great, high price however it is a tablecloth setting with a Michelin guide so understandable.Bartender made us two mocktails, they don’t have them on the menu but will happily make them for you, lime mojita and a tropical one, they were 5/5.Steak was cooked very nicely .. you know it’s a fresh steak however next time I’ll try the fillet.Desert came very fast – sticky toffee pudding. Was delicious however it’s tough to get that wrong

The overall taste for the food was bellow the average👎🏻 unfortunately you can’t order burger in “grill” floor they only serve steaks you have to go down to the bar to order it however the steaks can be served in the bar🤔! 2 out of 10

My partner and I had dinner here for our first night in Geneva. We were excited to eat at Chez Philippe based on reviews and the new Michelin recommendation. The food was great however the service was amongst the poorest we have experienced at any restaurant. The staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful, to the point where I felt uncomfortable being there.It really soured the experience and we expected much more from a restaurant of this supposed calibre.

Arrogant staff. Food was average. The Steak outside was burnt and tasted like Charcoal. Extremely overpriced for just the aesthetic. Their octopus tasted better than their meat and that’s an embarrassment for a steak restaurant I think.
