I first came to this restaurant in 1994 and since then have been to this place many times. Now being based in Geneva, I thought of visiting the place again. I must say nothing changed in terms of food and taste but service has gone down a bit. Staff is not that smiles anymore and also don’t understand the reason for delay in service. Beef was excellent as always but fries quality is gone down, very oily and not very presentable. I think this is a very original concept of food and quality of service should not bring the table top cooking concept down. Hope it improves but a must go experience if you haven’t tried it yet. Steak fans you should go and cook your own meat as per your liking. Enjoy

We had the Entrecote Cafe de Paris, which is a steak cooked at your table via a burner in Garlic butter sauce.Very nice and comes with fries and a green salad.Cost 97 euros for 2 including soft drinks.Not sure it was worth £80 but was a great experience.

Steak here is so so so good!Staffs are really welcoming !But the thing is bird will steal your french fries and salad if you eat outside !I record the video of bird taking away my salad and fries in this restaurant!But this also became part of special experience I had in cafe de paris!

Mon dieu!! What happened to this place?I have been coming here for over 20 years it’s my stop every time I come to Geneva which is often. But the quality of the food and service has gone down drastically over the years!! The meat did not look fresh and tasted not at all great, fries looked like it came right out of a frozen box limp and semi soggy. Service mediocre. The place also needs real deep cleaning. I used to go to the one on Rue de rhone it was wonderful but closed. Then I came here for years after that but i don’t think I will return. I dug up pictures I took in 2005 and now. Big difference!!

serves only steak with their unique buttery herby sauce with standard sides of salad and frites. you cannot just order a 3-course meal (steak with salad n frites) to share but have to add additional salad and frites for any additional diner. so it will be minimally chf43+17.5 for 2 person to dine here. nice steak and salad but lacklustre frites. still worth a try!

Beef rib steak with Café de Paris butter. Warm food is always welcomed… This restaurant has quite a history and supposedly serve the best steak with butter pairing. Yes good steak taste good with just butter. P.s.: the frites are so cute lah…
