Very nice place for a refreshment stop during a Bern trip. We got 2 cappuccinos and a kid’s fish n chips plate. They were all very good. The waiter was super nice. He also brought a strawberry flavored water for our kid. Also crayons and coloring papers. The view of Bern from the terrace is amazing

Love this place! They brew their own beer and the bread is super fresh. Atmosphere is inviting inside and out with a view of the bears playing outside near the Aare. Staff are friendly and the places is very clean.

Great atmosphere and the service here was very friendly. Came with my kids and wife. Saw the bears first then came for a nice delicious lunch. The beer smooth and just right for a somewhat warm day

Amazing place !. The decoration the location the service and the food very well super well served. Big variety of beers and a lot to choose also degustation I’m case you feel like. The beer is served on the right temperature wich is amazing. The food is also very good and well served with generous portions. Just personal opinion the “Bisonte” burgués doesn’t really worth it, just order the normal one is much better or at least I did not feel the difference. The people is very very helpful and super friendly and the prices are according to the place more or less beer and burger 50chf per person (1 Lts beer each person) so at the end everything was very nice and fair. I would recommend for sure to give it a chance. If you are in Bern this is a must to do.

Excellent food and the atmosphere was great for lunch! The sausage was superb! We enjoyed the views of the city from the restaurant and found it to be within walking distance to many attractions and shops.

Delicious, and absolutely worth the walk. Or take the tram! It’s open Sundays, too. You tourists may think it’s a tourist trap, but it’s a legit brewery with delicious, hearty food. It just happens to be next to the bears. We had the sausage and the pork knuckle and both were perfect.
