The fondue and the roesti were super delicious and the staff was friendly and customer oriented. It was quite busy so it took a while to get our order but I definitely recommend the restaurant!

We came into the restaurant to have a quick snack of cheese fondue (priced at $35). We had a party of 4, and made it clear we wanted a single order. About 45 minutes later, a fairly large pot comes to our table. There was no way 4 people could have ever finished it. We received our check later to realize they charged us for 4 times $35. Biggest scam I’ve experienced at a restaurant. Do not recommend!

The good: The restaurant is beautiful inside and very cozy, the staff was nice enough to serve us 30 minutes before close.the bad: The “homemade” soup tasted like Campbell’s soup with a little cream. Very watery. Also the staff was fairly unattententive, and this was before official closing time.

As recent guests wanting to savour traditional Swiss cuisine, we tried out this restaurant after arriving in Luzern for the evening.All we can say is: Never again!Staff were indifferent, and the manager outright rude. While it was busy there was no apology for slow service and two lots of people walked out. Quality of the food was 2nd rate for the high price we paid. On finishing our meal, no one acknowledged us leaving or thanked us for our custom so we left feeling extremely disappointed and ripped off (even for Switzerland)!What looked a cosy, inviting restaurant was anything but!

The food was very good and If I could I would give it 5 stars. But the service was not very good. It was obvious the server had forgot to ring in our meal. My mother and I had started to think maybe they needed to take a trip to mount pilatus to get some cows for our streak.I’ve worked in the service industry for 10+ years, and mistakes happen. I am not mad at a simple mistake, but it was unfortunate that after an hour of waiting for a rare steak, the 3 servers did not acknowledge or even apologize. They did not once return to our table to ask how our meal was. I couldn’t get a glass of wine once the steak arrived.Overall, good food; bad service
